I don't have an answer to your question, but when does that stop me from poking my nose in? I never tried healing NR instaes as Shadow, but I'm just throwing this out there inase you get to a
point where healing as Shadow isn't efftive enough to suit you anymore. Dian be a neompromise. Thanks to the homogenization of gear, Refltive Shield (whh I hear they're keeping) and all the Shield talents in general, Self-Penae on the way,
and Holy Nova, youan have a very effient Di leveling sp that also allows for nifty 5-man healing. (Hk, even my lolsmite sp was good for leveling and great for healing.)

Good
Well, I guess I am one of the few then sie I leveled my DK as a frost tank through Northrend and made gathering of tanking gear my first priority as I went. This allowed for a Shadow Priest to heal our group in Gundrak, but I am honestly not sure
how good that would have worked if I hadn't paid that mh attention to tanking sp and gear. This instae is a breaking point, though. It's the last pre-hero instae youan reliably find groups for. Everything after that requires you to have a whole lot of patiee. Most people apparently prefer to just level through to 80 and immediately jump into heros to get them badges and epix. I leveled my priest as Di through Northrend. This allows for plenty of healing for all the instaes along the way, and eellent solo play as long as you make sure to keep Spirit Tap and Refltive Shield. If you want to dps and level as shadow, your besthoe
is probably to just fus on yourhosen sp and limit your instae trs to those where you're not expted to heal. I'm leveling a Moonkin (77) right now, and I haven't had any problems yet to get into a
dungeon group for quests and hievements - without being healer. It's on a pked server, though, and your mileage might vary there. I don't think Iould have done that on the server my priest and DK are on.
